I woke up at 8am, reached my desk at 10am and its past 11pm and I still have unfinished reports.

What happened??? Your guess is as good as mine.

Nevertheless, as promised I’ll share highlights from the #DiaryOfA25YearOld.

Today, I barely managed to do my daily 15mins of the Newsroom.

Today, I learnt that the French will now be able to transfer money using tweets.

Today, I hosted a poet on TV and made my first order using the mobile app, hellofood.ug

Today, I listened to fine and ambitious world musicians who promised to rock the country at the upcoming Pearl Rhythm Festival.

Today, I blogged.

Today, I didn’t complete my field attachment report.

Today, I didn’t complete my promotional and social media responsibilities.

Today, I didn’t send my show synopsis to the experts who are ready to work with #TAG.

Today, I didn’t execute the day as I had planned it.

When all is said and done, Today, I struggled.

Tomorrow can only be better.

Described as one of the the greatest speeches in U.S History,  Martin Luther King( MLK) shares his passion and paints a picture that captivates all that were gathered to listen to him on that August 28th day of 1963.

Well, I too Have A Dream, well knowing that I am not Martin Luther King and I don’t aspire to become him because I believe in the uniqueness and value in each one of us as an Individual!

I dream of a Better world, (some may be tempted to say yeah right, me too!) but nevertheless,I dream,
I dream of a world with Warmer Relationships, and Real Communities.
I dream of a world where there’s more Good News than Bad News; where the media strives to report the best things coming out of society,
I dream of a world where each one of us realises that we are talented and we strive to nurture that talent, using it to serve ourselves, mankind and our God, the benefactor of the talent.
I dream of a Society that encourages individuals to Dream, Act, Excel; where we celebrate each other’s uniqueness, potential and success.
I dream of a World with more leaders than Politicians, where “Opposition parties” critique rather than fight the ruling governments, a world where people genuinely trust and expect others especially their leaders to do the right thing.
I dream of a world where our similarities outweigh our differences, where we celebrate Humanity Days rather than National Days, Wealth and Prosperity days rather rather than Disease Days(AIDS Day and the like), where we are Partners rather rather than Parties in  Relationships.
I dream of a world where neighbors and communities will use one car to go to work, church…., have community meals, build community roads and amenities rather than live as  individuals whose only similarity is their accusations against “government”.

Over 40 years ago, MLK and many others had a Dream, today President Barack Obama is testimony that dreams and indeed their dream materialised.
So it is with Hope that I dream, Hope that one day this Dream will be a Reality.That one day, people will genuinely look at the past and bless God, enjoy their Present and look forward with eagerness at the days to come, a world where Fear is the exception rather than the rule.
 I firmly believe that the latter days shall be more glorious than the former days, therefore I dream.
One thing is certain in this World; CHANGE.
I dream, believe and hope that that Change will be for the Better, Warmer, Lovelier, Cleaner, Stronger, Happier,……I dream of a world  you and I proud to be identified with as Citizens,
A world we’ll proudly hand over to our children and grand children…..

I am on a mission to be part of a Success story!

I believe that you are a Success story to be lived, shared and enjoyed and that’s why am positioning myself to be with you as your story unfolds….

I'll work on the principle laid out by Dale Carnegie, a famous American Self-improvement preacher,

Look for the field where you'll shine, where you'll excel, where you'll be a Master.

Ideas

Richard Branson once said
"Ideas are like buses, there's always one around the corner"

How many ideas came to your mind today?Perhaps tens or hundreds...
How many are you working on,maybe one....
Happy? Sad?Disappointed?
And if you are observant, many of the ideas that come to your mind today, you'll find them implemented by someone, somewhere in this season, and you'll grimace at a missed opportunity.
I believe when an idea comes to your mind, that idea is ready to be birthed and is looking for a mother or vessel.
It goes around from person to person until it finds the perfect conduscive vessel to deliver it.
Ever heard of Luck is when Opportunity meets Preparedness, well its about the same idea.
All you have to do is prepare.
So, what are you going to prepare? Land, Money, Time and until when will you hoard your resources for that Idea.
I'd rather you prepared by having yourself a Clear Vision and Life Purpose, knowing your Destination and Living in the Present or staying in the moment.

That way, when the Idea with whose mother you were destined to be comes along, you'll surely recognize it from among the many and gladly go to the Labor Ward to bring forth the Fruit!
